The Best Police Man

The best way to police a nation
is to make everybody a police officer,
not by profession but by participation.

The Wrong Step
A good police man is a very dear friend. He goes about making peace, not trouble or trying to intimidate people. He knows the community and environments very well, and is familiar with everyone in his area. He should be able to prevent troubles and quarrels before they became serious. He is a family counsellor, giving advice and friendly warnings. He only arrests an offender when it becomes really essential. He has the respect and affection of the whole community. Above all, he does not take bribe or encourage it.
A good police man does not engage in any of the followings:
  1. Accusing innocent persons of crime they did not commit.
  2. Intimidating people.
  3. Exploiting people of their money and belongings.
  4. Harassing people.
  5. Quick to jail and prosecute people.
Those Who Pay Themselves
The following are among those who pay themselves. As such, they have no heavenly rewards from God. They are the police officers who are busy collecting money from drivers and passengers on the road, those who accept bribe, those who force people to give them money before attending to them in the offices and work places, etc.
